I'm Marisa

I began my art journey, actually restarted, when I was highly stressed and was leading a very boring and monotonous life. I missed the feeling of painting and creating something. I had lost my fire and spark for a long time and painting was what needed to refuel the situation. I live in dubai with my family. If not painting you can see me with a book or kindle around. I love reading and fantasy is my main subject to read. I am a total homebody. I also enjoy cooking and going out to try various cuisines and try remaking them at home. And I love to travel and you can see my paintings are heavily inspired by these.


My Art

I was heavily inspired by all the artists in instagram when I first started to share my painting with the outside world. I started this page by exploring various subjects., painting florals, landscapes, dabbling little bit of acrylics. But later I realized I love painting landscapes and that’s where I am more drawn towards. My travels heavily inspire my painting and vice versa. Lately I can see my books have got a great influence on my painting. I am trying to explore that as well. I have decided to share my knowledge of painting with others so I have made an online class for others to learn from me.


My Shop

It’s been a while I’ve dreamed off starting a shop where I can sell my original paintings as well as my art prints. I want to share my art with people out there in different parts of the world. Original paintings with exception to some which will be exclusive and selected some will be sold as prints as well. I want to give the opportunity of having at least one of my artwork available to you.
